Tata Introduces ‘Click To Drive’ Sales Platform For Customers

TataDue to the COVID-19 pandemic, India was under a lockdown till 14th April, which has now extended till the end of April. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, a lot of businesses have either slowed or shut down. However, the automobile industry is facing a lot of crises and going under a heavy loss.

To make things work out, various car manufacturers are coming up with new solutions and ideas so that the business can keep running. Tata Motors has introduced the ‘Click to Drive’ digital sales platform. Through this platform, the customers will be able to buy the car of their choice without having to visit a showroom. The Click to Drive platform also connects customers with over 750 outlets across the country.

So, how exactly does the Click to Drive platform work? It is a simple process, customers need to register on the Click to Drive website and select their preferred car of choice. There will be brochures, including videos, explaining each car. Also, customers who are buying the Altroz have access to a virtual configurator that allows them to preview the car in a spec of their choice. The company has also come up with an online booking scheme, through which one can book the car by paying a booking amount online.

After this process, a dedicated person from the sales team will get in touch with the customer either via WhatsApp, email or video call to discuss the best offers, financing options, price quotation and an estimate for an old car for exchange value. Once the final process is completed, the customer can either choose to pick up the car from the dealership or have it delivered at home.
