Salman Khan’s Family Request Film Industry Friends To Refrain From Visit After Baba Siddique’s Death: Report

Salman Khan’s family has reportedly requested his friends from the film industry to refrain from visiting him after the killing of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique.  According to a report by India Today, the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor is devastated after the death of Baba Siddique and was unable to sleep after returning from Lilavati Hospital. After the shocking incident, the security outside the actor’s residence has also been increased.

The actor has reportedly been checking on Baba Siddique’s son Zeeshan and the rest of the family. India Today’s report further claimed that Salman Khan has canceled his personal meetings for the next few days. “Bhai has been on the phone checking on the funeral arrangements and every other detail.” a source was quoted as saying by India Today.

Salman recently arrived at Siddique’s residence to pay his last respects and became teary-eyed. For the unversed, Baba Siddique shared a close bond with several celebrities in the film industry including Salman Khan, and was well known for hosting lavish iftar parties every year.

Baba Siddique was shot dead on the night of October 12 outside his son’s office in Mumbai. Three shooters were involved and two have been arrested. Gurmail Baljit Singh (23) from Haryana and Dharamraj Kashyap (19) from Uttar Pradesh have been caught by the police. The third shooter, Shiv Kumar Gautam, also from Uttar Pradesh, is on the run.

Meanwhile, Hindustan Times reported that Baba Siddique was unconscious and exhibited severe blood loss upon his arrival at the hospital. The doctors attempted to save him for nearly two hours, but all went in vain and he was declared dead at 11:27 pm. On the question of whether Baba Siddique had died before being rushed to hospital, one of the doctors told PTI, “We undertook resuscitation, but Siddique was declared dead at 11.27 pm on Saturday.”

According to a report by NDTV, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the murder of a former Maharashtra minister. Salman Khan’s security has also been increased after the incident and the police personnel were seen outside his residence.
