Step By Step Guide
Boil Cauliflower Flower
Boil cauliflower florets with salt until tender. This boiling lets the florets absorbs more flavours when mixed with the spices. Make sure that the floret are not overcooked.
Mix Ingredients
Mix the florets with all the ingredients with a splash of water. Let it rest for about an hour. This ensures the spices are well incorporated in the cauliflower florets for a delicious taste.
Heat Oil
Heat oil or butter in a kadai for deep frying. Or can set the oven to 200° F and bake or can fry it in a n air fryer as well for a healthier version of the dish.
Frying Cauliflower
Drop the marinated cauliflower florets in the hot kadai and fry until golden brown. The frying part is the most important step the recipe. Making sure that the florets are not over-fried neither under-cooked. It should be perfectly cooked until golden brown. When it becomes golden brown it denotes that the florets are perfectly cooked and therefore crunchy and crispy.
Strain The Florets
Strain the fried cauliflower on a sheet to remove excess oil. As fried in a lot of oil it carrries enough amount of oil with it, hence it become important to drain them out. This can be done by letting the florets rest for a while on a sheet of paper, after just taking them out from the kadai.
Serve
Garnish with curry leaves or green chillis and serve hot. They can also be served with rice along with your desired chutney.
