Kylian Mbappé Scores A Hat-Trick, But Here’s What He Really Wants News24 –

Kylian Mbappe scored a hat trick for the club and registered a victory by 3-0 against Real Valladolid on Saturday, January 25. But Mbappe emphasised that his primary focus is on helping Real Madrid win the LaLiga title.

Mbappe was of to a great start by scoring in the 30th minute with a clever one-two combination involving Jude Bellingham. He added the second goal in the 57th minute and sealed the win with penalty stop in time. The win solidified Real Madrid’s position at the top of LaLiga standings with 49 points, extending their lead over Atletico Madrid who played out a draw 1-1 against Villarreal earlier in the day.

“I’m happy with the hat trick, but I’m more happy with the win,” Mbappé told Real Madrid TV. “It was very important to win today. After Atleti’s result, there was more pressure.” Mbappe said

“I said the first day here that I can play in all three positions in attack,” Mbappé said, when asked about playing centrally.

“My adaptation is over for sure. I feel good, with my movements, and my teammates, you can see it on the pitch.”

With 15 league goals this season and 22 across all competitions, Mbappé is in phenomenal form, netting eight times in his last five matches. Earlier this week, teammates Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo expressed their determination to help Mbappé finish the season as LaLiga’s top scorer, known as the Pichichi. Meanwhile, coach Carlo Ancelotti recently praised Mbappé, calling him “the best centre-forward in the world.”

“Mbappe has been playing well for a while,” Ancelotti said in his post-match news conference. “He scored three goals for the first time. He’s contributing a lot. He found his rhythm a couple of months ago. It’s a plus for us. He’s a player who has a lot of quality.”
