Congress Releases Party’s Manifesto, Announces 5 Guarantees News24 –

After BJP and AAP’s guarantees, the Congress announced five guarantees and released the party’s manifesto for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections on Wednesday. The manifesto was released by Congress MP Jairam Ramesh, Congress leader Pawan Khera, and Delhi Congress President Devender Yadav.

Speaking after the release of manifesto, Congress MP Jairam Ramesh said,” A guarantee means it is the right of the public…Five guarantees have been announced for the people of Delhi…Right now, in Delhi, not about ease of doing business but ease of breathing…If you see any parameter for pollution and chemical contamination, none can match Delhi. Neither BJP nor AAP govt in Delhi have taken this issue seriously…”

He further said, “Today all parties are using the word ‘guarantee’, but this word was used by the Congress party in the Karnataka elections. We wanted to give this message to the public that the Congress Party does what it says. When Manmohan Singh was the Prime Minister, the Congress Party brought a law in the form of a guarantee, which was passed and its name was ‘National Rural Employment Guarantee Act’. Meaning of guarantee- This is a right of the public. If the promises made to them are not fulfilled, they can also take legal recourse. In this connection, the Congress Party has given 5 guarantees for Delhi.”

आज ‘गारंटी’ शब्द सभी पार्टी इस्तेमाल कर रही हैं, लेकिन इस शब्द का इस्तेमाल कांग्रेस पार्टी ने कर्नाटक के चुनावों में किया था।
