Know When Will The 8th Instalment Be Released? News24 –

The Maharashtra government has launched a financial support scheme to empower women. The scheme is called “Ladki Bahini Yojana.” The scheme is modelled after Madhya Pradesh’s Ladli Behna Yojana; the scheme provides ₹1,500 per month towards the economic empowerment of women. So far, beneficiaries have received seven installments, and the eighth is awaited.

The next payment is expected to be credited into the women’s accounts by February 15, 2025. For this monetary help, women need to ensure that their documents are placed correctly and that they have activated the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) service in their bank accounts. Only those with DBT actually activated will be entitled to gain from the funds.

The Identification Must Satisfy The Following:

1. Women must be residents of the state of Maharashtra.
2. They should be between 21 and 65 years old.
3. Family income should not be more than ₹2.5 lakh per annum.
4. No car should be owned by the family members, and no member of the family should have any source of taxable income.
Recently, a few women were removed from the scheme so it is mandatory to check the status.
