Renault Launches New CNG kits- These Renault Vehicles would Now Be Offered With CNG- Check Details News24 –

With the whole Indian automotive market planning its next strides towards the possible release of new EV and CNG versions Renault has launched their own CNG Kits. This is a very critical addition to their line up as the brand used to just sell mainstream Vehicles till now. The Benefitting vehicles from the new launch would involve variants of Kwid, Triber, and Kiger.

CNG kits Prices

As a user you can opt for these kits in the Kwid, Triber and Kiger monikers. Costing around Rs 79,500 rs this would turn your car into a conventional CNG vehicle. The step taken by Renault to introduce such kits is kind of unorthodox as the CNG apparatus would be retro fitted to the cars by a recognized vendor only. Renault has saved itself from the production of CNG variants that would have costed the it substantial finances. Rather they have gone for much more personalized service options where a user can opt for CNG kits based on their use and needs.

As per Renault the addition of the CNG kit would not make any difference to the overall performance of the cars. As per the official statement by Renault the kits have been designed in such a manner that they have standardized fitments and easier installations.

The CNG kits would be made available in a phase wise manner, as of now these would be available in Maharashtra, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Gujarat. More states would then be added to the list. The kits would be introduced in a phase wise manner, as per the data figures that have been shared the states mentioned account for about 65% of Renaults sales.

Which Variants Would Receive The Update

Renault hasn’t shared any details about the mileage figures and economical benefit these changes would lead to. The Kits that Renault would offer would be bound with 3 years of warranty offering the buyers full peace of mind while opting for the new kits.

Renault is offering these kits only for the variants that have the 1.0l 3 cylinder engine. Along with a naturally aspirated engine and a manual gearbox. Renault has not shared any details about the CNG kit applicability to other variants with Turbo and automatic gearboxes.
