A fuel tank of a Pakistan Air Force fighter jet fell on the ground in the rural area of Punjab’s Sargodha area, according to a BBC report.
According to police, the jet was on a routine flight over the Chalk 100 area. The tank fuel of the jet suddenly crashed to the ground near Pakistan’s Air Force Base in the region.
The BBC report stated that the fuel tank caused significant damage in the area. It claimed a buffalo’s life as the livestock were tied. A video of the incident showing a killed buffalo and spilling oil went viral on social media.
A police officer corroborated that they received information regarding the incident. The cops rushed to the spot to take stock of the incident. Later, PAF officials reached the spot and collected the fuel tank.
On February 28, A terror incident took place in Balochistan’s Quetta. A total of 10 people, including 1 security personnel, were injured when a motorcycle strapped with explosives blew up near the Jan Muhammad Road, according to officials.
Following the blast, police and rescue teams were sent to the scene and started relief efforts, shifting any injured persons to nearby hospitals, Geo News reported.
The authorities have blocked off the area and are investigating the nature and cause of the explosion.
