Holi, a festival of colours, is about to come in a week, and many people are excited to play it using “gulal” and “water colours,” but amid all this, a question comes to our mind that due to adulteration in everything, colours are also not safe, and chemicals are used to make them.

Due to the use of chemicals, many people suffer skin infections after Holi. But this Holi will be different for Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur family, as a farmer, Aditya Tyagi, has made “organic gulal” for her granddaughter in his home.

Tyagi, who grows organic vegetables at his home, made organic gulal using some technique and mixing Araroat powder. As people residing close to his home came to know that Tyagi had made organic gulal, they approached us to buy it. Tyagi set the cost of his handmade gulal at Rs 100, and he sold nearly 20 kilograms.

While speaking to the media, Tuagi revealed that he has two granddaughters and his son resides in Germany. As the Holi festival is about to come and his granddaughter will play Holi with market colour, which will eventually infect their skin, he decided to produce homemade gulal to avoid any infection without losing the excitement of the festival.
