After the “Deepseek” launch in China “Manus” has created a buzz in the world of technology. Last week, the China based company Butterfly effect launched its new AI Manus which will work as “Chatbox” but also give you knowledge of “Share market” and plan your trip wisely with the help of simple instructions.

The AI platform is currently used via invitation and has more than 1,70,000 members so far. The co-founder Yichao hailed it as “the next paradigm of human-machine collaboration, and potentially a glimpse into AGI.”

Manus name comes from Latin motto “Mens Manus” which means “mind and hand” work parallely for better performance.

Speaking exclusively Its name defines “Manus” as “a system that can autonomously function on behalf of the user,” highlighted Manoj Harjani, research fellow at Singapore’s S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS).

“The difference between DeepSeek and ChatGPT from Manus is the manner in which these two systems respond to user-prompted queries using a chat-like interface, while Manus executes certain tasks like booking tickets or sorting through resumes,” he said.

While DeepSeek developed quietly within the backgrounds to prominence, this new avatar Manus is quite different—confined to a controlled invite beta and catering to enterprise-level customers, another analyst said.
