Close Shave for Driver and Passengers After Truck Collides With Mumbai-Amravati Train News24 –

It was a close shave for a truck driver and the passengers after a truck collided with the Mumbai-Amravati train at a railway crossing near the Bodwad railway station in Maharashtra. Fortunately, all passengers and truck drivers were safe, according to Railway officials.

The collision was so intense that it split the truck into two, and smoke was coming out of the engine. In a video, the truck’s engine is seen entangled, while the train engine was not damaged.

According to the Times of India, the truck carrying wheat was trying to cross the railway tracks through an unauthorised route.

A senior official said that the railway crossing was closed long back and replaced by a railway over bridge but the truck driver deliberately took the route.

The overhead electric wires were damaged in the incident. A senior police official said that a probe has been launched into the matter.
