Jaguar/Land Rover Report Record Sales In FY25, With 40% Year On Year Growth News24 –


Jaguar/ Land Rover India has  reported its highest annual sales in its 17 years of operating in India. The company witnessed a record 6,183 retail sales in FY25 representing 40% year-on-year growth, while wholesale volumes reached 6,266 units, up by 39% year on year. It also recorded its highest-ever quarterly retail and wholesales figures in Q4 FY25 at 1,793 and 1,710 units respectively, with growth of 110% and 118% compared to the same quarter in the prior year. 

According to the data presented by the company, Defender has become the highest selling model,  recording 90% in FY2025. Followed by locally manufactured Range Rover and  Range Rover Sport at 72% and 42% respectively. ‘

The brand has revealed that the locally manufactured Range Rover and the Range Rover sport has been the key driver of this growth.  Defender has been able to sustain its leadership position in its category. JLR further iterated that the support from their retail partners and the commitment to JLR teams in India and UK have been instrumental in driving this growth story. The brand is positive about continuing this momentum in FY26 , driven by curated product offerings and exceptional client experience. 

The growing recognition of the defender as a symbol of vanity and novelty amongst the Indians along with the establishment of Range Rovers as as comfortable SUV’s have added to the brands sales growth in India.
