The Indian batting star Virat Kohli is playing in the 18th season of Indian Premier League (IPL), with the aspiration to finally deliver Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) their first ever league title. But his pull isn’t in India alone, he’s being heard across the line in Pakistan, too.
A recent moment that highlighted Kohli’s widespread popularity came during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 match between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Among the crowd, a fan stood out wearing India’s Test jersey with Kohli’s famous number 18 on the back. The image of the fan quickly went viral on social media.

This wasn’t the first instance of a Kohli fan showing up at the PSL this year. Shortly before the Multan Sultans vs Karachi Kings match on April 12 at the National Stadium in Karachi, there was another fan outside the ground sporting an RCB jersey reading Kohli and number 18, which received a lot of online attention.
