Noida: The Noida administration on Wednesday took a big action on the instructions of District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma. SDM Anuj Nehra, Om Prakash Tehsildar Dadri and the team of Revenue Department took action in Noida Authority area. In the presence of police force, the officials demolished the illegal plotting and colony construction happening in the flood area of Hindon river in village Haibatpur, Tehsil Dadri by running a bulldozer.
Illegal Occupation Removed
It is being reported that during the action, on the basis of investigation of revenue records, colonies being developed illegally in Khasra numbers 224, 230, 231, 232, 346 etc. were identified. There is about 120 hectares land in this area, whose estimated market value is about Rs 150 crore. Now, the illegal occupation on it has been removed.
Warning Of Strict Action
The administration demolished the illegal construction with the help of JCB machine on the spot. They further warned that any kind of construction in the area is illegal and strict action will be taken against it.
Construction In Floodplain Pose Threat
It is worth mentioning that the development of illegal colonies in the submerged area of Hindon river is not just a violation of law. It pose a serious threat to public life and environment in future.
Administration’s Appeal To People
The administration officials have also appealed to the people to get proper verification done from the concerned departments before buying or selling any plot or property. They have asked to get it done to avoid any kind of inconvenience in future.
