Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: A shocking incident unfolded in Bhopal’s Saket Nagar on Tuesday, where a 56-year-old man allegedly died by suicide at his residence. Following the incident, a case was registered at the Bag Sewania Police Station. The officials said that they have recovered a suicide note from the scene in which the deceased mentioned why he took the extreme step.
What Was Written On The Suicide Note?
In the suicide note, purportedly written by the deceased, he said that he was distressed due to prolonged illness. Meanwhile, the body was later sent for a post-mortem examination. According to Investigation Officer ASI Subhash Tyagi, the deceased, identified as Dinesh Pratap Singh, was a resident of Bihar. He lived at 9A Saket Nagar, located in Bag Sewania, where he ran a tea stall accompanied by his wife. His shop was near AIIMS Bhopal, and his children are married and settled in their lives.
Wife Found Husband Hanging
Reports stated that around 7.30 am on Tuesday, Dinesh sipped tea with his wife before she left to open their stall. Thereafter, when she returned home after a while, she found him hanging. Upon receiving the information, police arrived at the spot and began a probe. While thoroughly searching the area, they found a suicide note on the deceased. He mentioned that he was mentally and physically burdened due to illness. Meanwhile, he also apologised to his family and voiced his hopelessness over his deteriorating health in the note.
Dinesh Had An Accident A Few Years Ago
Police informed that Dinesh previously resided in the Bajaria area. Some years ago, he had an accident in which both his legs were severely injured, making his mobility difficult. The officials further added that he also suffered problems related to hearing. These health issues were probably the reason for his continued distress and decision to take his own life.
