Royal Enfield’s Next Launch To Be A 750CC Continental GT-R! New Details And Leaks Revealed News24 –


It was widely apparent that Royal Enfield, had plans to expand its Mid Size motorcycle segment by launching an all new 750 cc motorcycle platform. Reports had suggested that the brand would be pitching its new 750cc bikes to compete against the likes of Triumph and Kawasaki. A recent report has established that the brand would soon be launching the new platform with a new continental GT bike.

As per a report by an Autocar professional it has been revealed that the first product of the new 750CC platform would be a Continental GTR cafe racer inspired bike. The bike would be a fully faired cafe- racer. The bike as per the report would be launched before 2026. 

The development of the new project has been codenamed R1e, The GT-R would be first model to use the new 750cc parallel – twin engine. The new engine has been purposefully built to compete against the more powerful bikes from brands such as Kawasaki as well as Triumph. The New engine would be based on recurrent 650 CC parallel twin architecture, the engine would be tuned to offer greater peak power and torque output. 

Since the new engine would be a 750cc unit 100 cc over the 650 the performance specs would exceed that of the current gen 47Hp and 52.3 Nm of torque. 

New Features 

The bike would be given a set of twin front disc brakes that would reflect its twin performance and orientation. The production cycle for the bike has been scheduled for Q1 of the calendar year 2026. The bike would possibly be launched in March as per reports by Auto Car Professional.

Royal Enfield New Strategy 

The New Royal Enfield 750CC platform has been designed to bridge the gap between its accessible twin cylinder 650 cc lineup. The brand has been focusing on providing offerings in the global middle weight category which has  tourers, sports bikes and other naked streetfighters as well. 

The Current GTR would be positioned above the 650 cc platform and start at Rs 3.03 lakh  and go up all the way till Rs 3.99 lakh the brand’s most expensive model. The new platform has been developed to ensure that the bike can compete against the likes of Triumph, Honda and Kawasaki.
