Chowki Staff Shunted After Yamuna Authority Officials Attacked By Mining Mafia In Greater Noida News24 –

The entire police outpost of Jaganpur lost its duty responsibilities after Yamuna Authority officials suffered a fatal attack in Greater Noida. The local police together with the mining mafia reportedly entered into a secret business arrangement. According to allegations the police in the area showed negligence after this incident occurred. The authorities ordered this action following investigative procedures. The outpost in-charge together with three other policemen assigned to the outpost have been transferred to police lines.

Attack On Yamuna Authority Officials

The Yamuna Authority team conducted an operation to stop illegal mining during late Monday night after receiving precise details about it. The mafia members are suspected of abusing the team members before conducting a deadly assault. Their vehicle was also damaged. Assistant Project Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava submitted a criminal report about Supervisor Pramod Kumar and gunners Harendra Singh and Udayveer Singh along with security personnel Vinod Kumar after they conducted a check at the Sector-17 mining site. A single JCB together with four dumpers were discovered at the site.

Five Mining Mafia Members Arrested

Sources indicate that the mafia assaulted Authority team members because they refused to be attacked. Their car was also damaged. Officials reported to the police station to file legal charges against Deepak Kasana together with ten unknown perpetrators after this incident. The police conducted an arrest followed by detention of Deepak Kasana along with Vinay Ravindra Gaurav and Rahul at jail during Wednesday. The authorities continue to search for the runaways among the remaining accused individuals.

Action Taken After ADCP’s Investigation

Evidence shows ADCP Sudhir Kumar conducted the investigation into this matter. The relevant actions took place during late Thursday night. Jaganpur outpost in-charge Sonu Sharma along with constables Rajiv, Amar Deep and Mukesh Chaudhary have lost their positions due to negligence in this matter. The confirmation of these actions came from DCP Greater Noida Saad Miya Khan. The police commissioner Laxmi Singh issued instructions for the disciplinary measures against police personnel.
