Vaibhav Suryavanshi Makes History
Rajasthan Royals selected 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi for their playing team who comes from Samastipur in Bihar. During the team selection toss Impact Player status was assigned to Vaibhav Suryavanshi by captain Riyan Parag. During the toss Suryavanshi replaced Sanju Samson in the playing lineup because Sanju could not participate in the match owing to a medical issue, according to the team captain. The cricket world had already noted Vaibhav’s U-19 India team appearance shortly after he turned 13 years old. At 14 years and 23 days old the cricket player became the youngest person to date who entered the IPL through his debut match.
Yet to Make a Mark in Domestic Cricket
At the young age of 13 Vaibhav Suryavanshi joined Bihar’s team in all three cricket formats. Vaibhav Suryavanshi has not established himself prominently in matches governed by the Board of Cricket in India. His outstanding performance in Rajasthan Royals IPL team would reveal his true potential. His good IPL performance creates potential opportunities to represent India at their national team level in years to come. Rajasthan Royals seems ready to develop a long-term investment in Suryavanshi.
