Woman Elopes With Husband’s Nephew In Muzaffarnagar, Leaves Behind 3 Children News24 –

Muzaffarnagar: A shocking case has come to light from Muzaffarnagar district in Uttar Pradesh, where a husband reached the SSP office in search of his wife. The husband, identified as Sonu alleged that his wife Rita has absconded with her own nephew Monu, leaving behind their three children. He has indicated a love affair between his wife and the nephew. According to the report, Sonu, a resident of Tisang village of Jansath Kotwali area, was married to Rita, a resident of Galopur Talheri village of Khatauli Kotwali in 2013. After marriage, the couple was blessed with three children. Everything was going well, but on March 19, Rita suddenly disappeared from home. The nephew is said to be nine years younger than the woman.

Sonu searched a lot for his wife, but when no trace of her was found, he lodged a report at the police station. Police investigation revealed that Rita was living with her husband’s nephew Monu in Rappan village of Mawana police station area of ​​Meerut. The police caught the both, but Rita, being an adult, started living with Monu of her own free will.  Sonu has appealed to the SSP and alleged Rita has threatened him over the phone not to follow her or else the consequences will be bad. Sonu fears for his life and wants Rita to return home for the sake of the children. The victim has also accused his wife and nephew of taking away Rs 40,000 cash and jewellery.

How Was The Incident Discovered?

According to report, Sonu told that on 19 March, both of them were working on field. However, the wife returned saying that she was feeling unwell. When Sonu returned home after working, he found that Rita was not there. He then called her and was left shocked on what he got to hear from his wife. He alleged that his wife told him that she was staying with their nephew and will continue to live with. She further asked him to not interfere and leave her alone.
