Khushboo Patani’s Brave Act Goes Viral After Rescuing Infant, Internet Applauds: ‘Soldier Always On Duty’
Khushboo Patani, an ex Lieutenant in the Indian Army and sister of actor Disha Patani was seen rescuing an abandoned infant girl from a dilapidated shanty near her home in Bareilly. In an Instagram video posted on Sunday, she was seen rescuing a baby girl who was left and promised to make sure she was taken care of. Her gesture and effort have left the internet in awe.
In the video, an infant sleeping in an abandoned area near Khushboo’s house where she followed the crying sound and was seen picking up the girl who began crying loud upon seeing her. At the end of the video while comforting the crying baby she spoke with quiet fury “If you are from Bareilly and this is your child, then tell us how the parents left her in this place. Shame on such parents!” She ended the video with a message: Please identify and share the girl child pictures.
Khushboo tagged the police and UP Chief Minister in her post, writing:”Jako rakhe saiyan, maar sake nah koi (Nobody can harm one whom God protects). I hope she will be taken care of by the authorities and whatever is the chain of command ahead with proper rules and regulations @bareillypolice @uppolice @myogi_adityanath. Please save the girl child in our country! kab tak chalega yeh sab? (Till when will this continue)? Please. I will ensure that she goes to the right hand and her life will flourish henceforth!”
Khushboo shared in the video that it was her mother who first heard the baby crying, which led her to rush out and rescue the child. The police later arrived and took the baby for medical treatment, as she had a few injuries. Khushboo also said she’ll make sure the baby is looked after properly and for now they have decided to call her Radha.
Many people praised her action, including actress Bhumi Pednekar who commented, “God bless her and you!” Fans called her a true soldier at heart, saying “Once a soldier, always on duty.”
