John Cena Makes History, Becky Lynch Returns To Win Gold News24 –

Night 2 of WWE WrestleMania 41 saw seven thrilling matches, four of which were championship matches. Fan enthusiasm was at a fever pitch compared to Night 1 as WWE loaded the event with non-stop action and surprises. Jaw-dropping moves and title changes made it a night to remember.

Women’s World Championship Match

Iyo Sky retained her title against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match that stole the show. Belair flexed her muscle with a 450 splash, shoulder tackles, and a KOD, while Rhea had a crushing Riptide. It ended in a crazy fashion as Rhea smashed Iyo into the ring post, and Bianca dropped Rhea with a KOD. As she attempted the pin, Iyo nailed a moonsault from the top rope on Belair, pinning her to maintain the championship.

Sin City Street Fight: Drew McIntyre vs. Damian Priest

This vicious match used chairs, steel steps, and tables. McIntyre controlled a majority of the match. He propelled Priest off the top rope through two tables and subsequently landed a crushing Claymore Kick as Priest was stuck in a chair in the corner to secure the victory.

Intercontinental Championship Match

Bron Breakker fought off Penta, Finn Bálor, and Dominik Mysterio. Brawls resulted from broken alliances, such as Bálor and Dominik. Carlito stepped in but was eliminated by a spear by Breakker. Dominik splashed onto Bálor at the top rope to get the pinfall in the last minute to win his first title on the main roster.

Randy Orton vs. Joe Hendry

Orton’s open challenge was met by TNA Champion Joe Hendry. The match was short-lived, as Orton quickly dispatched things with an RKO. In a shocking post-match gesture, Orton raised Hendry’s hand in respect—only to give him another RKO moments later.

AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul

Logan Paul and AJ Styles had a physically demanding match full of drama. Each man delivered the Styles Clash on the other. Interference from Paul’s friend Will Jeff and an unexpected visit from Karrion Kross contributed to the mayhem. Paul made good on the opportunity with a “One Lucky Punch” and then the Paulverizer for the victory.

Women’s Tag Team Championship Match

Fans were left stunned when Becky Lynch reappeared as Lyra Valkyria’s unknown partner. They battled Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez in a brutal fight. The audience exploded when Becky stood face-to-face with Liv. Becky delivered the Manhandle Slam to Liv for the pin, making herself and Lyra the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Main Event: Undisputed WWE Championship – Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena

In a thrilling main event, Cody Rhodes defended his title in a confrontation with the icon John Cena. The two superstars pushed themselves to the limit, performing their trademark moves—AA, DDT, STF by Cena, and Cody Cutter and Cross Rhodes by Cody. Mayhem broke out when rapper Travis Scott came in between, removing the referee. Cody responded by giving Scott a Cross Rhodes.

Cena then executed a low blow and attacked Cody with the title belt, after which he used a pin to emerge victorious in the match. With this victory, John Cena won his 17th world championship, shattering Ric Flair’s great record and assuring his own legacy. Cody’s 378-day reign finally came to a tearful conclusion.
