Group Of Men Attack Air Force Officer And His Wife In Bengaluru News24 –

A group of men allegedly attacked an Indian Air Force officer and his wife in Karnataka’s Bengaluru on April 20th.  The incident took place when the couple was heading to the airport from the DRDO colony in CV Raman Nagar. 

Men hurled abuses

Wing Commander Aditya Bose and his wife Squadron Leader Madhumita were thrashed by the men who were tailing their vehicle and verbally abused them in Kannada. 

Wing Commander Shared a video on Instagram

The Wing Commander shared a video on his Instagram and narrated the incident of how he and his wife were targeted by the men and bystanders who did not come forward to help and abused them instead. 

Men also hurled abuses at his wife

In the video, Bose is seen with blood stains while he recounts how men started attacking him. The men also hurled abuses at his wife, which he confronted, and they threw stones at him.  

Bose expressed his disappointment over the behaviour of people. It is expected that the police will register an FIR upon receiving a formal complaint from the couple. 

Man robbed at gunpoint in Delhi

In a separate incident, two armed men robbed a man at gunpoint in North East Delhi’s Yamuna Vihar area on Sunday. The incident took place in the area under the jurisdiction of Bhajanpura police station.

According to the victim, he was standing near a shop when two men on a bike suddenly arrived. Both robbers were carrying guns and threatened him before taking away his belongings.

Incident was caught on CCTV

The entire incident was caught on a CCTV camera installed nearby. The footage shows victim standing near the shop, while the robbers approach him, threaten him with firearms, and then flee after committing robbery.

Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter. However, no arrest has been made so far.
