Mercury Rises After Brief Respite! Hot Days Ahead – Check Temperature Forecast News24 –


Maximum temperature over Delhi has begun to rise again after brief respite. On Monday, a maximum temperature of 41.3°C was recorded in the national capital. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) noted that there has been an appreciable rise in maximum temperature over Delhi during the past 24 hours. It is currently in the range of 41 to 42°C. A fresh Western Disturbance is expected to affect Western Himalayan region from April 24, and Delhi is likely to get impacted by it. Residents will face scorching heat this week, as the maximum temperature on all days will reach above 40 degrees Celsius.

Forecast For Tuesday, April 22

For Tuesday, April 22, the IMD has forecast partly cloudy sky along with maximum temperature of 41°C. The humidity level is likely to remain 59 per cent. Occasional sustained surface winds (speed 10-20 kmph) will prevail over the national capital. There is relief for residents as no heatwave condition has been predicted on Tuesday. No other specific warning has been issued by the IMD for today’s weather.

Forecast For Coming Days

If we talking about weather update for coming days, the IMD forecast tells us of maximum temperature in the range of 40 to 42°C. Mainly clear sky is expected until April 26, and surface winds till April 23. The days will remain hot, however, the IMD has not forecasted any heat wave condition in the national capital this week. The humidity level is likely to remain between 50-60 per cent.
