Reports suggest that the popular stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi (KKK) season 15 may not happen this year. There’s been speculation about delays and uncertainty around the show but now details suggest the upcoming season may not happen at all according to an exclusive report by News18.
According to a source close to the show revealed that advanced talks are underway about shelving the reality show “There is no certainty about Khatron Ke Khiladi 15. Most likely, the upcoming season will be cancelled.” One of the major reasons is the withdrawal of production house Banijay, which had been working on the show for previous seasons. The insider revealed that the TV channel, Colors, wanted to push the show’s schedule from May to a later date this year, but the production house wasn’t very interested in stretching the show’s schedule.
Earlier a tweet from Big Boss Tak surfaced on social media announcing that Banijay Asia, previously known as EndemolShine India has abruptly walked out of producing Khatron Ke Khiladi, one of Colors TV’s biggest reality shows.
🚨 BREAKING! Banijay Asia (EndemolShine) has suddenly exited Khatron Ke Khiladi, and now Bigg Boss is also at risk.
In India, Endemol Shine holds the rights to run and produce the ‘Bigg Boss’ show, so if they leave, Bigg Boss might move to another channel.

Another key issue is the unavailability of host Rohit Shetty, who reportedly has a packed schedule and is unable to commit dates for shooting the new season ” The insider revealed to News18 and further added “It is because of several reasons. Banijay’s exit cannot be considered the sole reason behind such a big decision. Getting Rohit Shetty’s dates was also becoming difficult. Other than this, the channel wanted to push KKK but the production house did not want it. Multiple logistics are also involved with KKK and it is not easy to pull off a show like this every year.”
Khatron Ke Khiladi is one of India’s most loved stunt-based reality shows, where participants face their fears through daredevil tasks. It first aired in 2008 with Akshay Kumar as host. Over the years, the show has seen hosts like Priyanka Chopra and Arjun Kapoor, but Rohit Shetty has become synonymous with the show.
