Advocate Found Hanging, Foster Brother Dead In Farmhouse; Voice Note Blames Businessman News24 –

Bengaluru: In a shocking incident that took place on Friday inside a farmhouse at Srinivasapura, a 27-year-old advocate and her foster brother were reportedly found dead. The deceased advocate, identified as Ramya, was found hanging from the ceiling in the shed of the farmhouse, located within the Nelamangala rural police station limits. Meanwhile, Puneeth (25), a carpenter who was staying with her family since his childhood, was found dead inside the house.

Advocate Sends Voice Note Before Death

Puneeth was more like a foster son to the family and a foster brother to Ramya. According to reports, before taking the extreme step, she sent a voice note to one of her relatives. In the note, she blamed a local businessman from Basavanahalli as accountable for her death.

Police Suspect Foul Play Behind The Deaths

Police suspect that Ramya allegedly committed suicide after seeing Ramya hanging. The authorities, on the other hand, have yet to find the connection between Ramya and the local businessman. It is said that they both crossed paths during the construction of her mother’s tomb.

The New Indian Express quoted an officer as saying, “We suspect that Ramya’s death was over personal issues with the businessman, while Puneeth must have committed suicide, unable to bear the loss of the former. The possibility of foul play behind the deaths is also being probed. Puneeth must have been aware of the issues between Ramya and the businessman.”

Police Launch Probe

The deceased bodies have been sent for postmortem examination at a government hospital. Meanwhile, the Nelamangala Rural police have filed a case and are currently investigating the matter.
