The house of Farooq Ahmad Tadwa, a commander of the terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET), has been destroyed by security forces in the Narikoot Kalaroos area of Kupwara district. Farooq Ahmad Tadwa is currently hiding in Pakistan and is believed to be planning terrorist activities from there.
This is the sixth house belonging to active terrorists that has been demolished by security forces in just the last three days. These actions are part of a strong response by the authorities after the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
Security forces have been carrying out a series of operations to send a clear message that those involved in terrorism, and their supporters, will not be spared.
Multiple Houses of Active Terrorists Demolished
In a decisive move against terrorism in Kashmir Valley, authorities have demolished residential houses linked to active terrorists after the recent Pahalgam attack. The demolitions took place earlier on Saturday across the districts of Pulwama, Kulgam, and Shopian.
According to official sources, the house of Ehsan Ul Haq Sheikh, a terrorist from Muran Pulwama, was demolished late Friday night. Sheikh is believed to have played a role in several terrorist incidents, prompting swift action from the authorities.
In Kulgam, the residence of Zakir Ahmad Gania, an active terrorist since 2023, was destroyed using explosives in the Matalhama area. Similarly, in Shopian, the house of Shahid Ahmad Kutay, who has been active since 2002, was also targeted and demolished in Chotipora.
