Delhi-NCR Sees Temperature Spike; Heatwave, Hot And Humid Conditions Predicted Across Regions News24 –
A gradual change in temperatures will be seen across regions of India in the next few days. In northwest India, the maximum temperatures will first increase, and then slightly fall, while Central and East India look to have a small initial fall in wave temperature trend. In Maharashtra, we have a steady upward trend, and Gujarat will see stabilization followed by an upward trend.
Heatwave conditions are expected to persist across several northern and central areas of India, and hot and humid across some areas in the west and south. In Delhi-NCR, there have been rises in temperature in the last 24 hours, with mostly clear skies and moderate wind levels.

1. Gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 2-3°C likely over Northwest India during next 4 days and fall by 2-4°C for subsequent 3 days.
2. Gradual fall in maximum temperatures by 2°C likely over Central India during next 2 days and rise by 2- 3°C for subsequent 3 days.
3. Gradual fall in maximum temperatures by 3-5°C likely over East India during next 3 Days and no significant change during subsequent 4 days.

Heat wave conditions very likely in isolated pockets over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan Muzaffarabad during 27th-29th; Haryana during 27th -30th; Himachal Pradesh during 28th -30th; Punjab, West Rajasthan during 27th-01st May; East Rajasthan on 29th & 30th; West Madhya Pradesh during 29th01st May.
2. Hot & humid weather is likely to prevail over Gujarat state, Tamilnadu Puducherry & Karaikal during 27th-01st May; Kerala & Mahe, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Rayalaseema, Coastal Karnataka on 27th & 28th; Marathwada during 28th-01st May.
Past Weather In Delhi NCR
There has been a rise in minimum temperature up to 03 – 06°C and rise in maximum temperature up to 01°C over Delhi/NCR during the past 24 hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures over Delhi are in the range of 42 to 43°C and 25 to 27°C respectively. The minimum temperature was above normal up to 01 – 03°C and maximum temperature was above normal up to 02 – 04 Cover Delhi/NCR.
Predominant surface wind from the southwest direction with wind speeds less than 18 kmph gusting up to 40 kmph prevailed during the past 24 hours. Mainly clear sky conditions with wind speed less than 14 kmph from the west direction prevailed over the region in the forenoon today.
