Mahindra XUV 700 To Be Dethroned By This Suzuki 7 Seater- Specs And Features Unveiled News24 –


Mahindra XUV 700, has been a formidable choice for users who seek to travel in luxury and comfort and seek the extended reliance of a brand like Mahindra. Even though the car competes against the likes of Tata safari and Toyota Hycross the XUV 700 has been favored as the primary choice for many. 

But the scenario is bound to change soon, since Suzuki is developing a new 7 seater SUV that would take on the XUV 700. The new 7 seater variant would further add another competitor to the MPV segment that is heating up with the prospective launches of the new KIA Carens and the Carens EV in the future.

Suzuki’s New 7 seater

Although Suzuki has not revealed any details about the launch of the new 7 seater SUV. The car has been spotted a few times while being tested under wavy camouflage. The 2025 plans for Suzuki consist of the E-Vitara launch and beyond that the development of two new SUV’s. The 7 seater SUV would be the brands approach at competing against the likes of Hyundai Alcazar and the upcoming KIA – 7 seater. The 7 seater that is currently being developed by Suzuki would have headlamps similar to that of the E – Vitara, the SUV would have a longer wheelbase than that of the Grand Vitara as well The rear profile of the car seems to have been elongated for better legroom for the thyroid row seats. 

A spy shot that was recently leaked revealed that the car would have a large Touchscreen, with a slightly different dashboard than that of the grand Vitara. Would the new 7 seater continue to use the 1.5 litre Na engine with strong Hybrid option or with the added weight move towards a 2.0 liter Na engine is still unclear.  Suzuki has further plans to introduce new Hybrid powertrains to their existing models to further improve their performance and fuel efficiency. In a recent report it was reveled that the brand is working on HEV based Hybrid powertrains that would help users shift to Hybrids and make the initial steps towards sustainable mobility. Its possible that the new 7 seater SUV might be launched with similar Hybrid Powertrains as well.
