Pakistan Fears Indian Military Strike In 24–36 Hours? After Defence Minister, I&B Minister Appeals To Global Community, Cites ‘Credible Intelligence’

In a recent development, Pakistan’s Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar issued an appeal via X, warning of a possible Indian military strike within the next 24 to 36 hours. Citing what he described as “credible intelligence,” Pakistan claims it has evidence of an imminent attack on its soil. The minister alleged that India’s plans are based on fabricated accusations related to the Pahalgam incident. He further asserted that Pakistan strongly rejects India’s self-assigned role as judge, jury, and executioner, emphasising its own history as a victim of terrorism.

What I & B Minister Said

“Indian self-assumed hubristic role of Judge, Jury and Executioner in the region is reckless and vehemently rejected. Pakistan has been the victim of terrorism itself and truly understands the pain of this scourge. We have always condemned it in all its forms and manifestations anywhere in the world,” he added.

Tarar claimed that Pakistan has been the “victim of terrorism” itself and truly understands the pain of this scourge, “We have always condemned it in all its forms and manifestations anywhere in the world,” he added.
“Pakistan reiterates that any such military adventurism by India would be responded to assuredly and decisively. The International community must remain alive to the reality that the onus of an escalatory spiral and its ensuing consequences shall squarely lie with India,” Tahrar said.
Earlier, in an exclusive interview with Pakistan’s defence minister Khawaja Asif, the minister had claimed that India’s “incursion was imminent” and Islamabad was on high alert.

The post comes as India is preparing for decisive action against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, which continues to threaten peace in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Pahalgam attack, which took place on April 22, left 26 people — mostly tourists, including one Nepalese national — brutally murdered at the Baisaran meadow around 2 pm.
It was one of the deadliest assaults in the region since the 2019 Pulwama attack, which claimed the lives of 40 Central Reserve Police Force personnel.
