Hania Aamir Sparks Meme Fest Amid Tension Between Indian-Pakistan Post Pahalgam Attack; See Reactions

Indo-Pak relations have worsened after the Pahalgam terror attack that shook the whole world. In response to this heinous barbarism, the Indian Government decided to suspend the Indus Water Treaty of 1960.

Due to these recent developments, people are raging against Pakistan and demanding a ban on Pakistani artists who are working in Indian projects. However, some people are taking a light-hearted approach to this situation through humour.

Memes are surfacing on the internet regarding water shortage in Pakistan, as India might close the dams on the Indus. It is to be noted that most of Pakistan’s irrigation needs are fulfilled by the Indus water. While supporting this move by the government, memes are going viral about sending water to Pakistani actress Hania Aamir.

A video that caught the attention of the people in both countries was that of a boy sending a carton of water bottles to Hania.

A user on X posted a meme video saying, “Paani pilana to punya ka kaam hai.” In the video, a person is feeding water to a child despite being beaten by a mob. The meme shows Hania in the child’s place.

In another video, a person is driving his car, saying that he is going to bring Hania Aamir to India before the war starts. He wrote, “POV- Me going to save ‘Hania Aamir’ and bring her in India before the war actually starts.”

Another meme surfaced on the Internet where the user is showing remorse for not sending even a bottle to Hania.

Who is Hania Aamir

Hania Aamir is a famous Pakistani actress. She gained fame in India after her Romantic drama Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum.

Hania also condemned the Pahalgam terror attack. She took to her Instagram and posted a story on her social media handle denouncing the attack. Hania wrote, “Tragedy anywhere is a tragedy for all of us. My heart is with the innocent lives affected by the recent events. In pain, in grief, and in hope—we are one.”

She further added, “When innocent lives are lost, the pain is not theirs alone—it belongs to all of us. No matter where we come from, grief speaks the same language. May we choose humanity, always.”

According to the sources, Hania Aamir was reportedly set to make her debut in Diljit Dosanjh’s Sardaar Ji 3. However, the chaos between the countries may have led to her being dropped from the film and her portions might also be re-shot with another actress.
