Tata Altroz Facelift To Break Cover This Month Along With KIA Clavis And Golf GTI- New Launches Revealed News24 –
The initial days of May have brought along with them a promising future for the auto industry, with a slew of prospective launches planned for the month. While most of the cars would be meant for the general consumers, one of the vehicles has been targeted right towards the enthusiasts and is a thoroughbred hot hatch. Beyond the CBU import Hot hatch, the month would also bring us the opportunity to witness the next descendant of the Carens MPV.
2025 KIA Clavis ( Facelift Carens )
As per a recent update today, a new version of the KIA Carens is all up and ready to launch on May 8th 2025. The New car would be refreshed from the ground up under the moniker Clavis. The car would have a redesigned front fascia and new interior design. It would be put on sale along with the older Carens which would continue alongside the newer Clavis.
The teaser has given us an idea as to what the interior updates would look like, it’s expected that the car would get a 10.25-inch digital driver display,a panoramic sunroof along with ADAS level 2 safety features that were similar to the ones we have seen on the KIA Syros. It’s possible that the Clavis would be launched with a Hybrid powertrain along the same powertrains as that of the current gen Carens .
Tata Altroz Facelift
Beyond the new Carens the Existing Tata Altroz is also expected to go through a facelift. The facelift vehicle has been spotted testing a few times, although the car was under a heavy camouflage we could make out some of the redesigned elements of the vehicle. It became apparent that the vehicle would be launched with a redesigned front fascia along with new headlights. Beyond other changes, the interior of the vehicle is also supposed to get revamped with a new design and premium features. The car would continue to be offered in the CNG powertrain as the snapshots witnessed had vehicles with CNG Powertrains.
MG Windsor With A Bigger Battery
MG Windsor, has been a formidable vehicle in the MG clan the vehicle has been able to grab favorable sales figures and has been a stalwart for MG. To ensure that the vehicle is able to continually bring similar sales figures MG is planning to launch a new version of the vehicle with a bigger 50.6KWH battery pack. Beyond the battery pack the vehicle is expected to go through no other changes. The New model would continue to use the 136 PS electric motor setup and delivers CLTC -claimed range of 460 KM.
Volkswagen Golf Gti
The highly awaited Golf GTi would be brought to India as an import. This would be the second GTi badged vehicle to be launched in India as it had previously brought a 3-door Polo GTI. The car would be pretty expensive considering that it would be full import. The Golf GTi would be able to churn out a power output of around 265Hp with a peak torque figure of 370Nm, 2.0 litre Turbo petrol engine paired to a 7Speed dual clutch automatic gearbox that sends power to the front wheels. Being a CBU import the car would be brought to India in limited numbers. The car is expected to break cover in late May.
