Union Home Minister Amit Shah said it is the government’s resolve to uproot terrorism from every inch of this country, and no one will be spared.
‘No one will be spared’
While speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the road and statue to honour the legacy of Bodofa Upendranath Brahma, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “…If someone, by doing a cowardly attack, thinks that it is their big victory, then understand one thing, this is the Narendra Modi government, no one will be spared. It is our resolve to uproot terrorism from every inch of this country and it will be accomplished. Not only 140 crore Indians but the whole world is standing with India in this fight, all the countries of the world have come together and are standing with the people of India in this fight against terrorism. I want to reiterate the resolve that until terrorism is eradicated, our fight will continue and those who have committed it will certainly be given appropriate punishment.”

‘We have cleared 96% of the issues’
The union home minister also assured people of Bodoland that the nation belongs to them and the government has cleared 96% of the issues of the agreement made with them.
“Assam accepts the people of Bodoland and Bodoland accepts Assam. Today, a lot of people are listening to me from Bodoland, I want to say that you all should not have any inferiority complex. You have as much right to this country as I do…After 9 months of detailed discussion, the Bodo Agreement was signed in 2020, and all the people have laid down their arms and joined the mainstream today…I want to tell the people of Bodoland that we have cleared 96% of the issues of the agreement made with you, ” The union home minister said.

Pahalgam Terror Attack
On April 22, terrorists attacked tourists at Baisaran meadow in Pahalgam, killing 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen while leaving several others injured. It was noted that this attack came in the wake of the successful holding of elections in the Union Territory and its steady progress towards economic growth and development.
