22-Year-Old Bride-to-Be Dies Of Cardiac Arrest While Dancing During Haldi In UP News24 –

In a tragic incident, a 22-year-old bride-to-be died of cardiac arrest a day before her wedding in Uttar Pradesh’s Budaun district. 

Incident took place in Noorpur Pinauni village

According to PTI, the police said the incident took place in Noorpur Pinauni village under Islamnagar police station limits. 

She collapsed in bathroom

As per the family members, Diksha was dancing with her sisters and relatives during the Haldi ceremony. But she started feeling unwell. She went to the bathroom and allegedly collapsed and died of cardiac arrest.

She was declared dead on the spot

Diksha’s father said they knocked on the bathroom door but did not get any response. They broke the door and found Diksha lying unconscious. She was declared dead on the spot. The police said that Diksha’s family refused to lodge a complaint and postmortem of her body. 

Diksha was set to marry Saurabh, a native of Moradabad.

5 killed as Kanpur multistorey catches fire

In a separate incident, five individuals trapped in a six-storey building during a massive fire that broke out on the night of May 4 in the Chaman Ganj area of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, have succumbed to their injuries, officials said on Monday.

According to the Assistant Commissioner of Police of Kanpur, Tej Bahadur Singh, the victims included a man identified as Danish, his wife and their three children.

Authorities have brought the fire under control

“A total of five people have lost their lives in the fire incident, including Danish, his wife and three children. The fire has been controlled,” ACP Singh said.

Earlier, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police of Central Kanpur, Rajesh Srivastava, said that the individuals were sent to the hospital to be medically examined after they were rescued from the building. However, he noted that the chance of their survival was very slim.
