Mahindra Plans To Unveil New Bolero On August 15 Along With A New EV Platform? New Report Reveals Key Details News24 –


Mahindra has been planning to launch an all new SUV platform, that would be unveiled on August 15th. The new launch has been confirmed in the Q4 earnings call from the brand. The brand has dubbed it as the new flexible architecture, that would soon underpin an extensive array of models. This would be a multi -energy platform and would be used to spawn a series of new models. The New architecture would allow the new models to be powered by Petrol, Diesel and Hybrid as well as electric powertrains. 

Since the launch of the new platform is expected to coincide with the launch of the new Bolero its possible that the new Bolero might be based on the same new platform. As per the plans Mahindra is all set to launch a completely new model and give facelifts to 2 other vehicles that need a mid life cycle update. Could there be a Bolero EV on the card as well? It would all be revealed soon. 

But as of yet Mahindra has also planned to ramp up the production capacity to about 1.2 lakh NFA models per year from its Chakan Plant. Further the brand would soon be increasing the production capacity for the Mahindra Thar Roxx and XUV 3XO in FF 2026 by more than 3,000 units. 

New Model Launch Timeline 

Of the 9 new  ICE ( Internal Combustion Engine) and the other EV’s planned by the SUV -maker by 2030, Mahindra has launched the new XUV3X0 and the Thar Roxx along with the BE 6 and the XEV 9e last year.  All in all its possible that about 12 new passenger vehicles  that include a 7new ICE models along with 5 EV’s are expected by the end of the decade.
