Only Murders In The Building Season 5 will reportedly release on JioHotstar in August 2025. The official release of the upcoming season is not announced yet.

The show revolves around three strangers, who become friends because of their shared interest in true crime podcasts. Things take a turn when someone gets killed in their building and they themselves start a podcast while investigating the death. In the last episode of Only Murders In The Building Season 4, Oliver Putman and Loretta get married in a dreamy wedding. However, their happiness takes a tragic turn when there is another murder in the building.

The show is created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman. The fifth season stars Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez in the lead roles and they will reprise their characters. Renée Zellweger, Christoph Waltz, Logan Lerman, Keegan-Michael Key, and Beanie Feldstein have joined the show as the new additions.
