Two Pakistani Drones Shot Down In J&K’s Naushera; Amit Shah Reviews Security With Top Officials News24 –
Union home minister Amit Shah on Thursday held a meeting with the Director Generals of all border guarding forces to review the current security situations along the nation’s border.
Defence Sources said Two Pakistan drones were shot down in Jammu & Kashmir’s Naushera sector. Heavy exchange of artillery fire was going on between the two sides in the sector.
The Indian Armed Forces successfully foiled a large-scale drone and missile attack launched by Pakistan targeting multiple military stations in Northern and Western India, including Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur, Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS) said.
The Indian military responded swiftly and decisively, neutralising the threat using both kinetic and non-kinetic means, following standard operating procedures (SoP).
In a post on X, the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff said: “Military Stations of Jammu, Pathankot and Udhampur in proximity to the International Boundary, in Jammu & Kashmir targeted by Pakistan using missiles and drones. No losses. Threat neutralised by #IndianArmedForces as per SoP with kinetic & non-kinetic means.”
