Did Pakistan Admit Its Role in the Pulwama Attack? PAF Officer Hails It As ‘Tactical Brilliance’ News24 –

Amid growing tensions following the Pahalgam Terror attack, Pakistan has made remarks regarding the Pulwama incident, as reported by the Economic Times. In a press conference held on Friday, Pakistan’s Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed described the Pulwama attack as an example of “tactical brilliance.”

The Attack in Pulwama took place in 2019. In this attack, 40 Indian paramilitary personnel were killed. This happened when Jasish-e-Mohammed’s suicide bomber hit the CRPF convoy.

As quoted by the Economic Times, Pakistan’s Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed said, “If Pakistan’s land, skies, or waters are threatened, there will be no compromise.”

He further mentioned, “We tried to convey this with our tactical brilliance in Pulwama, and now we’ve shown our strategic skills too.”

He was accompanied by DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry and a spokesperson from the Navy. Lt Gen Chaudhry is the son of Sultan Bashiruddin Mahmood, a nuclear scientist with alleged ties to al-Qaida and designated as a terrorist by the United Nations. Pakistan has consistently denied any involvement in the Pulwama attack, which was executed by the militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). At the time, then-Prime Minister Imran Khan acknowledged the incident as a “serious issue” but ruled out any connection to the military, as per media reports.
