Who Is Ashish Kanakia? Meet Shazahn Padamsee’s Fiance Ahead Of Their June Wedding

Actress Shazahn Padamsee, daughter of Sharon Prabhakar and the late Alyque Padamsee also known for her roles in films like Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji and Housefull 2, is all set to tie the knot on June 5 with businessman Ashish Kanakia in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai. While Shazahn has been in the public eye for years, her soon to be husband has stayed away from the spotlight, curiosity about who he is.

Ashish Kanakia, serves as the CEO of MovieMax Cinemas and a director at the Kanakia Group. Shazahn while speaking to TOI said that she was introduced to Ashish by a childhood friend of hers and gradually both of them fell in love “My childhood friend got us to meet and there was an instant attraction. But I didn’t want to rush into it. We met a couple of months later for dinner and started dating shortly after that.”

After dating each other for two and a half years, Ashish proposed Shazan for marriage on 13 November 2024 and the couple got engaged on 22 November 2024 in Gujarati rituals and traditions on January 20. The wedding will be attended by Shazahn and Ashish’s family and close friends. The wedding ceremony will be followed by a sangeet ceremony and an after party on June 7 at the same hotel.
