Who Is Mushaal Mullick? Pakistani Wife Of Kashmiri Separatist Yasin Malik; Urges Govt. To Seek His Release In Exchange For Freed BSF Jawan News24 –

Kashmiri separatist leader Yasin Malik is currently in jail and facing trial in a special TADA (Terrorist and Disruptive Activities) court in Jammu and Kashmir. He is accused of being involved in the killing of four Indian Air Force personnel in 1990. He is also facing charges related to the 1989 kidnapping of Rubaiya Sayeed, the daughter of the then Home Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.

Now, in a new development, a video has gone viral showing Yasin Malik’s wife, a Pakistani citizen, appealing to the government to secure his release in exchange for the recently freed BSF jawan. She made the statement during a talk show on Dawn News while discussing India-Pakistan relations. She pleaded with the Pakistani government to negotiate a prisoner swap. However, that plan has already fallen apart. After Operation Sindoor, Pakistan, fearing further escalation, quickly returned the captured BSF jawan to India on May 14, 2025. This move rendered any potential “deal” pointless.

In the video, we also hear her urging the release of Yasin as soon as possible and asking Pakistan to include them in any India-Pakistan talks on Kashmir, wherever they may take place.
