Father Stabs 14-Day-Old Daughter To Death, Dumps Body In Garbage News24 –

Hyderabad: In a horrific incident, a man stabbed his 14-day-old daughter to death and threw her body in a garbage dump. The incident has been reported from the Golconda police station limits in Hyderabad on Thursday. He was taken into police custody, based on a complaint filed by his wife. The accused has been identified as Jagat, who is originally from Nepal and works as a security guard. He is accused of stabbing the infant with a knife.

What Did The Police Say?

According to the police, “Yesterday, in the early morning hours around 2 am, a man named Jagath, a Nepalese national who had been residing and working as a watchman in an apartment for one year, killed his 14-day-old baby girl.”

The official added that Jagat took the body of his new born daughter outside the apartment, stabbed her in the neck, and threw the deceased baby’s body near a garbage dump in Tolichowki. The accused has not revealed the motive behind the crime and further investigation is underway by the Golconda police.

In another incident reported from Raigad district of Maharashtra on May 14, a woman was stabbed to death by her boyfriend. The man later hanged himself after murdering his girlfriend over suspicions of her involved in love affair. He stabbed her multiple times all over her body, and she died on the spot. The incident occurred in Parli, Sudhagad taluka on Tuesday evening.

According to preliminary information, the woman was working as a nurse at Oswal Hospital in Parli. She was in a relationship with a young man. Reports suggested that the man attacked her due to suspicions over her character. When the police reached the spot, they found the body of the girl lying soaked in blood. After this, the young man also committed suicide by hanging himself. The police then took possession of the bodies. Police suspect that this murder was a result of love affair.
