Bengaluru: Bengaluru has been reeling under incessant heavy rain over the past few days, leading to traffic disruptions and severe waterlogging. The situation has turned dire in different parts of the city, including major roads such as Yelahanka, Hebbal, and Koramangala. The city’s drainage system is struggling to cope with the heavy volume of rainwater. Amid the waterlogging, the Bengaluru Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory, effective from Monday, until normalcy is restored.
Commuters are urged to avoid the following roads and routes: Road from Garvebhavi palya, Balagere T cross towards Panthur RUB, Balagere T cross towards Vibgyor school road, etc. Additionally, the Bengaluru Traffic Police has urged people to exercise extreme caution while driving.
