Delhi Traffic Alert! Curbs In Place For Shiv Mahapuran Katha At Nirankari Ground From May 20 To 27


Delhi Traffic Police on Monday issued a comprehensive advisory in light of the Shiv Mahapuran Katha at Nirankari Ground, Burari from May 20 to 27. The advisory, effective from 8 am till midnight, outlines several traffic restrictions & diversions on key stretches like Outer Ring Road, Arihant Marg & Bhai Parmanand Marg. The religious event will likely see a large number of devotees, thus leading to congestion on surrounding roads. Commuters are therefore urged to plan their journey accordingly for a hassle-free experience.

Traffic Diversion & Restrictions

No Parking Zones (Both carriageways):

– Arihant Marg: From Mukundpur Chowk to Azadpur Chowk
– Outer Ring Road: From Burari Chowk to Mukundpur Chowk
– Shanti Swaroop Tyagi Marg to Bhai Parmanand Marg: From Burari Chowk to Parmanand Colony

NOTE: Delhi Traffic Police warned that the vehicles parked on the above routes will be towed and prosecuted as per law. Towed vehicles will be parked at Tara Singh Chowk and Shah Alam Bandh Road (behind Majlis Park Metro Station). Devotees attending the Shiv Mahapuran Katha are advised to use the Majlis Park Metro Station for easy access to the venue.
