Sources said ANI that Ansari had arrived in the national capital city at the behest of ISI. The ISI had asked Ansarul to make a CD of the confidential documents and send it to Pakistan. After his interrogation, another person was also arrested in Ranchi. Ansari revealed that he used to drive a cab in Qatar, where he met an ISI handler. Later, Ansarul was taken to Pakistan, where he was trained by top ISI officials for several days, and then sent to Delhi via Nepal.

In the past few days, several people, including YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, a resident of Hisar, Haryana, were arrested for allegedly sharing sensitive information and being in continuous contact with a Pakistani citizen.

Operation Sindoor

Operation Sindoor was a precision military campaign launched by India on May 7, 2025, in response to a deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 tourists were killed by The Resistance Front (TRF), a Pakistan-based group affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba. Following the operation and India’s successful interception of further Pakistani attacks, Pakistan reportedly called for a ceasefire. Meanwhile, India remained on high alert, actively cracking down on sleeper cells. Several YouTubers and content creators were arrested for alleged links to the ISI and the Pakistan High Commission, accused of sharing sensitive information, including Indian military movements and security-related details such as planned blackouts.
