A Woman And A Man Detained By Mumbai Police For Attempting To Enter Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments In Bandra
In two separate incidents this week, Mumbai Police detained a woman and a youth for attempting to enter Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments, in Bandra. Both individuals, reportedly fans of the actor, tried to breach the high security premises.
On Tuesday, security personnel detained a 23 year old man from Chhattisgarh, identified as Jitendrakumar Hridaylal Singh, was seen walking around Salman’s residence before and was asked to move by the police. However, he somehow managed to enter the building complex.
Constable Sandeep Rangari asked Singh to leave the area, but which reportedly enraged him and in a fit of anger, Singh smashed his mobile phone on the ground.
Later that evening, at around 7:15 PM, Singh returned to Galaxy Apartments and attempted to sneak into the compound by hiding behind a car. Security personnel spotted him once he was inside the building premises and detained him. During interrogation, Singh confessed that he wanted to meet Salman Khan and had attempted to bypass police restrictions due to the actor’s tight security in around the residence.
In a second incident on Thursday, a 32 year old lady from Khar was stopped by security outside Khan’s residence before she could enter. She admitted to the police that she wanted to meet the actor, which led her to attempt entry into the highly guarded residence.
Both individuals are being questioned by the Bandra Police.
Salman Khan’s security has been increased after the death of his close friend Baba Siddiqui, who was a well known politician. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the murder and Mumbai Police later revealed Akashdeep Gill to be their prime suspect. Salman Khan has also received death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang several times.
