Delhi Weather Update: Although June started on a wet note, the weather in the national capital has quickly turned warm and sunny. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a rise in mercury, with temperatures expected to exceed 40 degrees Celsius in the coming days. According to the Weather Body, the sky will mostly remain clear till the 13th of June. No warning is issued for rain during the next week.
Notably, the maximum temperatures in Delhi/NCR are likely to rise by 5-6°C during the next four to five days. The weather yesterday was comparatively neutral as the capital saw clear skies with temperatures reaching 38.2 degrees Celsius. Delhiites must brace themselves for warmer days ahead and cover themselves properly while stepping out.
Delhi Weather Forecast For The Next 5 Days
Westerly winds, with speeds up to 20 to 30 Km/h, are likely to hit Delhi/NCR in the coming week. According to IMD, the weather will remain partly cloudy today, and mostly clear the day after. On 8th, 9th, and 10th June, residents may witness clear skies again with strong surface winds prevailing, especially during the daytime. Thereafter, on 12th and 13th June, the clouds will remain clear.
