June 12 will be seen as one of the darkest days in Indian history. According to reports, around 242 people have lost their lives in an Air India plane crash that took place at Ahmedabad. The flight took off from Ahmedabad Airport and was going towards London Gatwick Airport. The cricketing world also paid their respects as the iconic Lord’s stadium, which was hosting the WTC Finals 2025 between Australia and South Africa, went silent for one minute. Also, the opening pair for the Third day, Australia’s Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon were at the crease. Players from both teams were seen wearing black armbands as well.
