The body of a 16-year-old missing minor from Jaitpur village in the Surajpur police station area of Greater Noida has been found floating in a canal in Jewar on June 10. The police recovered the body near the culvert of the canal in Dayanatpur village of Jewar and sent it for post-mortem.
After the discovery of the minor’s body, there has been chaos in the family. Meanwhile, family members alleged that it took the police four days to find the minor in the same district. There is a suspicion of murder on the friends.
The investigation revealed that 16-year-old Sunny Rawal, a resident of Jaitpur village, had been missing since June 10. His father, Hariom alias Suka, filed a missing person’s FIR at the Surajpur police station. Family members alleged that the police made no effort to find the children in the case. If the police had made an effort, he could have been found earlier. The police merely registered the FIR to fulfill all the formalities.
The family has expressed suspicion that his friends may have committed murder. The police have begun an investigation into the matter. The relatives have alleged that after Sunny went missing, no meaningful efforts were made to find him. There was no use of surveillance either.
If efforts had been made to find him, the outcome would have been different. After the minor went missing, the relatives could not even contact his friends. There is suspicion that after the murder, the body was thrown away. It is suspected that Sunny was killed first, and then the body was disposed of in the canal with the intention of hiding it.
Meanwhile, the police have stated that all aspects of the case are being thoroughly investigated. No important clues have been found yet. The case will soon be solved.
