Ayushmann Khurrana Teams Up With Bhushan Kumar And Juno Chopra For A Wholesome Family Comedy

Ayushmann Khurrana has nonetheless signed a new comedy film with producers Bhushan Kumar and Juno Chopra. This film will commence its shooting in September 2025, and it is reported to be a complete comedy and quirky film.

Following the success of Dream Girl 2 and preparation for his Diwali 2025 film Thama, Ayushmann will next explore a straight comedy film. His funny roles are already beloved by people, and now he will appear in a film that combines dumb jokes and hilarious situations.

A report by Pinkvilla suggested that this film is going to be laden with humour. One person familiar with the project stated, “It’s an out-and-out comedy for Ayushmann Khurrana. The actor has been looking to do a film in this genre for a while now and has finally found a script that strikes the right balance.”

The name of the film and the director are yet to be announced. However, the casting process has begun and the producers are seeking popular actors and actresses to be part of the movie. It is planned to film the movie continuously, without extensive pauses.

The source also added, “The makers are keeping things low-key for now, but the script is locked, and casting has begun quietly. A director known for delivering commercial comedy hits is likely to helm the film.”

This movie is going to be among the numerous thrilling ventures of Ayushmann. Before this, he will appear in Thama, a horror-comedy film by Aditya Satpodar and produced by Dinesh Vijan. He later, in 2026, has a spy-comedy with Dharma Productions, in which he shares screen space with Sara Ali Khan.

Once he completes this new comedy film, Ayushmann will start shooting an emotional family drama with Sooraj Barjatya, who is known to make heart-touching films. That movie will commence in November 2025.
