The Bike has gone through several powertrain changes that make it compliant with the latest BS6,P2 OBD2B emission standards set forth by the Indian Government which took effect from April 2025. As far as pricing is concerned the bike has been priced at Rs 3.25 lakh, users would have three colors to choose from – Metallic Triton Blue , Metallic Matte Sword Silver and Metallic Matte Back No 2.
New Engine Updates!
The Suzuki Gsx 8R is powered by the same 776 CC parallel-twin liquid cooled DOHC 4V/cyl engine as before, Butt the engine has been updated to comply with the latest Bs6 p2 OBD2B emission norms. The Bike engine has been placed at a 270 degree crank that is capable of developing 82 BHP and a peak power of 8500 RPM and 78 Nm at 6,800 RPM.
The Engine is now mated to a Easy Start System, Ride By Wire Electronic Throttle and b -directional Quick Shifter. To further ensure that the bike can be ridden in the traffic with ease it has further been equipped with. Beyond that the bike ahs been equipped with USD telescopic front forks and a rear mono shock, The bike further has a dual disc brake setup with 17 inch cast aluminum wheels wrapped with Dunlop tires.
