Enthusiasts have swore by the V-tech technology for years and its economical version the i-Vtech was the top choice for enthusiasts in India. But in the recent past the Honda city has turned a bit more suave and, its no longer the go to choice for enthusiasts. But all of that is bound to change as a recent update has revealed that, Honda has been planning to launch an all new Honda City sport Edition in the Indian market.
A slew of new images by car and bike.com have revealed a new version of the Honda city under wraps. The City Sport Edition is expected to receive a slew of cosmetic changes. These would include blacked out front grille, Black Orvm, and a black lip spoiler. The Chrome strip on the front fascia has been replaced with a more aggressive looking gloss black element. Along with that the car has been equipped with a ‘Sport” badge on the boot lid.
Honda City Sport Interior
The City Sport Edition would get an all black interior with black upholstery and black dashboard trim along with a red stitching for the steering wheel. The Sport edition would likely be powered by a 1.5 litre petrol engine as the standard City. The said unit develops 119 Bhp and a peak torque of 145 nm and beyond that it would possibly be paired with either a 6 speed manual or a CVT.

The Honda City Sport is likely to carry a premium over the existing Honda City, which is currently priced between Rs 13.38 lakh and Rs 15.34 lakh. The sport variant would probably be based off of VX trim level.
A slew of images from Car and Bike.com have revealed that the sport variant would be a cosmetic update, with the same powertrain as the normal variant. The blacked out grill and an extended black lip with similar accents would make the entirety of the changes the car would be equipped with. While the new variant is being hyped for its cosmetic changes it has been on sale in the Middle east market for a while, Honda offers two sport variants in the market a sport as well as a sport Lx.
